The hotel Hacienda El Santiscal is located in Arcos de la Frontera, a historical town and the capital of the "Pueblos Blancos" (White Villages), near the nature reserve of Grazalema, declared reserve of the biosphere by the UNESCO. Arcos de la Frontera is one of the prettiest villages in Spain, situated at the top of a high rock on wich are perched a mass of white houses as well as an Arab medieval castle suggesting the magnificent past of such a romantic and legendary town wich belonged to the Arab Qora Court of Medina Sidonia.
The hotel has eight double rooms, three Junior Suites and one Principal Suite with lounge and fireplace. All the rooms are fitted out with air conditioning with private remote control and have fully-equipped bathrooms with hair-driers and products of reception.
Being a protected historical building (dating from the XVth century), all the rooms are different, including some with wooden coffered ceilings, Arab brick or terracotta floors, typical Spanish furniture, etc. But all are decorated to be welcoming and according to the style of the house, giving it simplicity, elegance and character.
The other facilities include a dining room, a private glass gazebo, a reading room with fireplace, a garden and a swimming pool, terraces, direct access to the lake, an Andalusian central patio, a bar, a car park. The whole is surrounded by a large estate and sunflowers, wheat and olive trees fields.
