The Inn at Pelican Heights
Our Inn sits on a hill overlooking Pelican Bay with gorgeous views of the Caribbean. We have a fresh water pool and are within minutes walking distance to Pelican Beach. Judith’s Fancy is just around the corner from our Inn. It is a great hike to a beach with sugar mill ruins or on the other side to Salt River where Columbus landed in 1493. We provide a full hearty breakfast from our Gallery with beautiful. views of Pelican Bay and the glorious colors of the Caribbean. We have a gift shop for all your needs and the Sea Top Restaurant is located across the parking lot.
All cottages have queen or king bedrooms with kitchens, living room or sitting area, bath, private patio’s, A/C, cable TV, phones, and all are beautiful and roomy. We have a two-bedroom cottage. Our Inn is located in a very quiet private area and yet within minutes of fun and entertainment.
The beaches on the island are public and most beaches you can snorkel or dive directly from the beach. St. Croix has some of the best fishing and diving in the world. There are many activities on island including the famous Buck Island trip. It is a sail and snorkel trip that is written about in many travel books. You can see the most beautiful coral and fish that normally can only be seen diving 40 feet. St. Croix has the Rum Factory,Botanical Gardens, Whim Museum, and wonderful historical tours. A trip to Point Udall to see the sunrise is always a moving and memorable experience. Point Udall is the eastern most point of the US. There are hikes to the Tide Pools, ocean kayaking trips, windsurfing, jet skis, parasailing, fishing, two championship golf courses, some of the best diving in the world, tennis,sunset sails, and the best dining in the Eastern Caribbean. The Aquarium and underwater tour is a must see. You can take Island tours in air-conditioned vans or open tour safari style. We are 21/2 miles from downtown Christiansted with tax-free shopping.
The weather year round is generally in the mid 80’s sometimes reaching low 90’s and falling to high 70’s. In March it is generally around the high 80’s down to the high 70’s.

Directions

If you take a taxi to get to The Inn at Pelican Heights just let them know that The Inn is across from St. C Condo's or Seatop Restaurant.

If you are driving you take Route 64 from the airport to Centerline Road or Route 70.
Take Route 70 to Route 75 to Route 751. On Route 75 just after the Chocolate Barbecue you will see a gas station, a place called Aggies and signs that say The Inn at Pelican Heights and Seatop restaurant. You will turn left at this corner which is Route 751. Drive up the street and make the last right turn.
There will be signs that say The Inn at Pelican Heights, St. C Condo's and St. Croix by the Sea Hotel.
Turn right here and follow the road up to the Guard Gate. We are on the left after the Guard gate. The main house is located up the stairs behind the large fiscus tree.
