Grand Hotel Tremezzo Palace
With its hundred windows over the Lake Como reflections or over the green of a centuries old park which borders with the botanic garden of Villa Carlotta, Grand Hotel Tremezzo Palace, a charming five-stars hotel dating back to the beginning of the last century, overlooks the Riviera delle Azalee, in one of the most striking spots of the lake, with a breathtaking view from Balbianello promontory to Bellagio.

All rooms are decorated with pastel yellow, light blue and green, are embellished through rich fabrics and are furnished with vintage furniture and ancient paintings and prints. The saloons with frescos preserve the flavour and the glamour typical of the Belle Époque hotels.
The Regina Restaurant offers dishes, typical of the local tradition but reassessed, together with a refined international cuisine, whereas the luxury Restaurant Grill is dedicated to those people who wish to have dinner à la Carte, for a special evening. From May to September the Grill moves to the superb terrace where you can enjoy all the charm of the Lake Como. The rose sunset of the Grigne Mountains is really priceless, the spectacle of Bellagio lights, which are reflected, together with the moon, in the lake.
At guests’ disposal a tennis court of synthetic grass, a fitness centre, a health path in the middle of the park leading to the hill top and three heated swimming pools, one of them floating on the water: one of the most exciting situation on the lake, in an incomparable anphitheatre of water, mountains and sky, on the enchanting setting of Bellagio.

Description: The Family Rooms are situated on the mezzanine floor of Villa Emilia, the eighteen-century villa belonged to Emilia Sommariva, proprietor of Villa Carlotta as well, connected to the Palace through a small steel bridge, in form of a tree, by Riccardo Mantero.
They represent the ideal solution for a holiday with children because they are apartments composed of two rooms and two bathrooms, both with bath and shower, equipped with independent entrance.
It is possible to choose between Elegant Family Suite, situated on the back of the Villa in a very peaceful position, and Deluxe Family Suite, the ancient proprietor’s room, still furnished with the vintage furniture and fire place, with a smashing view on the Lake, and equipped even with Jacuzzi.

Directions
- MILAN LINATE - National flights and Charter. Take the motorway A9, which connect Milan with the Switzerland, direction Como – Chiasso till the exit Como Nord (last exit before the frontier). Take the Strada Statale Regina and follow the road signs to Menaggio and drive along it for 27 km. Grand Hotel Tremezzo faces the road on its left side, in the centre of Tremezzo. It takes you 1 hour and 20 minutes by car to reach the Hotel (94 km).
- MILAN MALPENSA - International and intercontinental flights. Take the motorway A9, which connect Milan with the Switzerland, direction Como – Chiasso till the exit Como Nord (last exit before the frontier). Take the Strada Statale Regina and follow the road signs to Menaggio and drive along it for 27 km. Grand Hotel Tremezzo faces the road on its left side, in the centre of Tremezzo. It takes you ca. 1 hour by car to reach the Hotel (82 km). There is a Ferrovie Nord connection from the airport directly to the Como centre (with change in Saronno) as well.
