Step back in time...The Leopold David B&B INN is a national historical landmark and one of the oldest Inns in downtown Anchorage. It was built in 1917 for the family of the first mayor of Anchorage, and as a rooming house, the lower floor was used by the Alaska Railroad executives. Restored elegantly with European flair in 1997, it is located next to entertainment, business & shopping centers. This Victorian house sitting on a bluff, offers panoramic view of Cook Inlet and the Alaska Range Volcanoes.

The five private entries allow for a very high level of privacy. Unchanged over the years, the quality of structure is apparent in the bracketed front porch and the similar bracketed gabled roof. Again, the side porch is repeated in design by the dormer above it. A bay window in the front adds yet another dimension. It hints at the elegance and nostalgia of yesteryear.
