Antica casa "le rondini" is a very small B.& B. in Colle di Buggiano, an utterly charming tiny medieval village of stone streets and buildings in the multi-castle hills above Montecatini Terme, between Florence and Lucca. The B.& B. is in a 500 - year- old stone house that has been lovingly restored by an architect and his teacher wife. The rooms are spacious, with modern private baths, charming antique furniture, and incredible views of the town and scenic countryside.

There are 200 - year - old decorative wall frescos, discovered during renovation and amazingly restored by painstaking removal of overpainting. Rooms have a feeling of 18° century country elegance.Breakfast is served in a beautiful walled garden, weather permitting, or in the owners' fabulous restored period kitchen. This place is quite special.

Follow nationale 215, and the departementale N°1 until the entry of CASTELNAU (about 25 kms).

At the first roundabout, turn on your right direction LESPARRE/PAUILLAC.

At the second one, turn on your right direction AVENSAN, and follow the way during about 500 m.
