	Organized mountain walks From 25 September to 28 October 2006 Four hiking excursions per week Our clients ask for more and more guided excursions through the marvellous Tramuntana Mountain Range. This is understandable since the landscape offers unique and unforgettable views of wild cliffs, romantic bays and tranquil villages. So we have selected 4 weekly excursions. The price of 180 € for the package of 4 walks includes a picnic in the mountains and lunch in a rustic restaurant at the end of the tour. The cost for those only wanting to join in a single excursion is 55 €. We take care of the drinking water, but the client must be responsible for bringing adequate shoes, a hat and protection from the rain. You can reserve a place for all four of the walks whatever your arrival and departure days may be. Monday: Deià – Sóller We leave the Hotel towards the sea and skirt the town of Deià. Behind the town we follow the road for some 500 m, until we find the path towards Sóller. We enjoy our picnic at a favourite spot. Then we continue towards the coast and the Sóller lighthouse. We eat in “Refugio de Muleta” and then return by bus. Total time: Approximately 5 hours. Difficulty from 1-6: 2 Tuesday: Deià – Valldemossa We leave directly behind the Hotel with a steep ascent for approximately 2 hours until arriving at the old horse trail of the Archduke. We follow this trail a while before enjoying a brief rest in the shadow of ancient pines. The return is simpler. The trail leads us through some peaks until beginning the descent towards Valldemossa where we have lunch. Return is by bus. Total time: Approximately 5 hours. Difficulty from 1-6: 4 Thursday: Biniaraix – Cuber The beginning is easy. We travel thirty minutes by bus towards Biniaraix. There, we begin the ascent on the ancient pilgrim path toward Lluch. We rest at the foot of L’Ofre before continuing to the Cuber Reservoir. There awaits the bus that will take us to Sóller where we have lunch. Total time: Approximately 5 hours. Difficulty from 1-6: 3 Friday: Mirador de las Barcas – Cala Tuent The first stop after a 45 minute bus ride is at the viewpoint “Mirador de las Barcas”. From there we continue down the slope before beginning an ascent that demands all our strength. But as soon as we arrive at the top, we stop for a rest in the shade of a small Holm Oak forest on the edge of the path. From there, the route is almost all downhill and with views out to the sea. Then we have lunch in Cala Tuent, and if the weather permits we go by boat to Sóller where a bus awaits to take us to the hotel. Total time: Approximately 5 hours.
