Set between Tuscany and Umbria, this elegant residence, built in 1600, was home to poet Antonio Guadagnoli in the 19th century. Today, Il Falconiere, which retains all the splendour of its historical past, has been magnificently restored. 10 guestrooms and 2 suites, resplendent with beautiful antique furniture, offer exquisite comfort. Savour regional cuisine while enjoying superb views of the idyllic Tuscan countryside.
The hotel is spread out on the property and it is composed of different buildings: The oldest part is the Main Villa where the reception, restaurant and some rooms are situated. The recently restored part of the property is the country house, about 300 meters from the main building where exclusive and luxury rooms are located. Both of the properties have a private swimming-pool, breakfast-hall, and free parking. Open air swimming-pool with bar service, restaurant in the terrace-garden is open from May to September.

Cooking Classes:
You will discover how the finest Tuscan food and wines are prepared and chosen to compliment one another. Four culinary lessons will focus on the wines and food of Tuscany, a land of enchanting towns with spectacular views of cypress and olive trees.
Classes are limited to 14 people and are hands-on, with lessons concentrating on the successive stages of a meal. The wines are carefully chosen, as are the ingredients for the dishes on the highly original menu, which changes with the season. The pasta is homemade, the olive oil is produced from the Falconiere’s own trees, and grapes from the vines may feature in some of the dishes.
The courses will be conducted by Michele Brogioni, chef of the Relais Il Falconiere, and by Silvia Regi, owner and professional sommelier. Together, they will teach traditional Tuscan techniques of cooking and its history. The owner, Riccardo Baracchi, will personally take care of the programme to guarantee a pleasant stay.
