- The closest railway stations to Naples ferry/hydrofoil terminals are: ‘Centrale/Garibaldi’ only a 15-minute drive from Beverello terminal and Mergellina within 5 minutes walking distance of Mergellina terminal.
- BY CAR
- Any direction you are coming from, exit at "Napoli zona portuale", then at "Napoli centro-porto".
- Follow the signs to "Napoli porto via Marittima" all the way to Maschio Angioino Castle.
- Across the street from the castle there is the Beverello ferry terminal (in the most crowded season vehicles owned by residents in the Campania region have been banned).
- The ferry timetable is as follows: 6.25 8.55 10.55 13.55 14.20 15.40 17.20 19.00 19.20 21.55.
- When you are in Ischia, take SS270 to Barano, keep left and turn left at the traffic light onto via Michele Gazzella.
- Follow the sign to "centro" and continue to Piazza degli Eroi.
- Keep straight on all the way, then turn right onto Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo and continue along the seafront till the road meets the first side street to the right (via E. Gianturco): Hotel "Il Moresco" is right there 50 m around the corner.
- FROM NAPLES
- From Naples airport or railway station go to Molo Beverello (hydrofoil and ferry terminals to Ischia and other destinations in the Gulf of Naples) or Mergellina terminal (only hydrofoils depart from here to Ischia and other destinations in the Gulf of Naples).
- The hydrofoil trip from Molo Beverello takes 45 minutes, from Mergellina 35 minutes.
- Departures are usually from 7.50 to 20.00.
- No-stop ferries take 80 minutes (the trip is 20 minutes longer aboard the ones that stop at Procida) and usually depart from 6.25 to 21.55.
- FROM SORRENTO
- In the peak season there is a daily hydrofoil departing at 9.20 and reaching Ischia after 45 minutes.
- FROM CAPRI
- In the peak season there is a daily hydrofoil departing at 16.40 and reaching Ischia after 40 minutes.
- FROM POZZUOLI
- Only ferry connections to Ischia, leaving daily usually from 9.30 to 18.55.
- FROM SALERNO, AMALFI, POSITANO
- In the peak season a daily motor-boat (vehicles are not carried) reaches Ischia after 2 hours.
