Villa La Cappella
Hotel Villa La Cappella is a country residence situated on the road which from Montespertoli, town located in the countryside just outside Florence, leads to Certaldo and San Gimignano. It was here in the 12th century, amidst the hills of Aliano and in the vicinity of a chapel, that an elegant residence was built, residence which today has been transformed in hotel. In harmony with the surrounding landscape, Villa La Cappella aims to be an environmentally friendly hotel, carefully selecting the materials used and employing, wherever possible, renewable energy sources.
A park of cypress trees surrounds Hotel Villa La Cappella. Inside the building, the atmosphere is that of a traditional Tuscan home, where to experience the warmest of welcomes and charming, family style hospitality. Large open fireplaces take pride of place in the lobby and in drawing rooms featuring pavements in terracotta and exposed wooden beam ceilings. These same elements can be found in Hotel Villa La Cappella's attractive bedrooms, suites and apartments, the latter complete with spacious living/dining room and kitchenette.
From the winter garden where a generous breakfast is served each morning to the elegant dining room and panoramic terrace, at Villa La Cappella a number of spaces have been created in which to indulge in the finest of traditional Tuscan fare, all prepared using only the freshest of locally sourced ingredients. Excellent food and an enchanting location in which to enjoy it, a combination which guarantees the success of the receptions, parties and banquets held at Villa La Cappella.
Guests staying at Villa La Cappella pass the time of day strolling in the flower filled gardens, sun bathing by the swimming pool, or dozing on one of the hammocks beneath the cypress trees. For the adventurous, Villa La Cappella offers the opportunity to fly in the hotel's hot air balloon. Twice a year the hotel organises a meeting of classic cars, with itineraries on which to discover the landscapes, art, history and culinary traditions of Tuscany.

Fine Dining -
The dinner is normally served in our panoramic terrace, in case of bad weather condition inside our restaurant. We serve a four courses menu (traditional Tuscany kitchen) using all fresh products and ingredients. All vegetables are bio, coming from our parents' property. On request for lunch time, we offer a small lunch card, full of inviting dishes. Villa La Cappella likes to offer our guests a traditional Tuscan cuisine and our menus create a unique insight into Mediterranean dishes.
Respecting this wonderful cuisine, we use only local products and vegetables grown by ourselves.
Vegetarian cooking poses no difficulties for us - and we only use home-grown vegetables. A real indulgence You may also enjoy a selection of exquisite wines from the region and the rest of Italy.
