This charming and romantic hotel with 18 rooms,in the heart of Positano opened in 2000. Originally a private villa it has been carefully restored, combining original characteristic charm with the best of contemporary features.The building lies on Via Pasitea, the main street in town, and is easily accessible.Built on four levels, the Hotel “Punta Regina” has a breath-taking view of the Mediterranean Waters, that has made Positano famous.While relaxing from your terrace, not only will you enjoy the sight of “Li Galli” island and the tower “Clavel”, but also the many boats sailing in the blue colored waters.
Eighteen lavish rooms, among them, Suites and Junior Suites. All are elegantly furnished, from the marble and tile covered bathrooms, to the antique furnishings, that make each room unique. The care and details makes them particularly beautiful, and suitable for long stays. Some of the rooms have an outside jacuzzi and a solarium. They all have air-conditioning, minibar and a safe.
The terrace where the buffet breakfast is served, offers a gorgeous view over the bay of Positano, where you can admire the Port, the town and the island off shore. Guests may choose to have breakfast in their bedrooms.The service is attentive and friendly.The center of town, shops, restaurants and beaches are all within walking distance. Walk along the main road or through enchanting steps that reveal the hidden side of town, where all private homes with flowers and beautiful colours make this town one of the most cherished in the world.

Five rooms only decorated with an excellent taste, a romantic and relaxing ambience. Splendid sea view from the balcony or terrace.
Superior De Luxe
Large rooms with king size bed and sofa bed, with precious décor, suitable for a long stay. From the terrace or balcony one can enjoy a splendid sea view.
Superior De Luxe Special
Only two room with a double balcony or terrace a romantic bedroom, with a luxurious marble bathroom with jacuzzi idromassage.
Suite
Situated on two separate floors, the suites are very different from each other :N°27 is furnished with antique forniture, and in an alcove decorated in baroque style, is situated the large matrimonial bed. The specilality of this suite is the idromassage tub situated on the outside terrace with gazebo.
Suite N°36 is a larger of the two, with two bathrooms, a large wardrobe and a small living area with a sofa bed. Spacious balcony with an excellent view overlooking the suggestive village and sea view overlooking the weast coast.

By plane: daily flights from worldwide airports. Naples Airport is thenearest airport well connected toRome, Milan, Venice, London, Paris &Frankfurt.
- By Train: Salerno is the nearest railway station (25 km - 55 minutes drive),but we recommend Naples' train station(70 km - 75 minutes drive) sinceitis easily accessible as well as well connected to the Amalfi Coast( localtrain Cirumvesuviana to Sorrento, SITA bus towards Amalfi).
- By car:
- From South and East :HighwayA3 direction to Salerno. ExitVietrisul Mare and Amalfi, after driving for about 3 kms you will be on the famousAmalfi drive. Once you are in Amalfi follow signs for Positano.
- FromNorth: from Rome or Naples, HighwayA3 Naples-Pompei-Salerno, exitCastellamare di Stabia, then follow directions for "Penisola Sorrentina" andSorrento. Few km before Sorrento you will find signs for Positano andCostiera Amalfitana.
- To reach Positano from Naples Airport by Car: Take A3Naples-Pompei-Salerno, exit at Castellamare di Stabia, then followdirections for "Penisola Sorrentina" and Sorrento. Few km before Sorrentoyou'll find signs for Positano and Costiera Amalfitana. Once you havereached Positano, take the road down to Positano center: this is the onlyroad coming down into town and it is one-way. After about 1 Km, Hotel PuntaRegina is on your left hand side, the main entrance is on the street. Wehave no parking but approximately 100 meters before us is a parking lot,which we normally recommend to our guests as it is the closest and offersspecial daily rates to our guests, depending on the type of car &festivities.
- By taxi: Upon request we are able to book a private car, the driver waitoutsidearrival terminal/platform showing a sign borad with guests'name.
- By ferry/hydrofoile:
