Reads is set at the foot of the impressive Tramuntana Mountain range. This area is ideal for walking & hiking and we have routes and maps available at the hotels reception.

Bike -
Mallorca is an incredibly popular destination for cyclists of all levels, professionals, serious amateurs and those who just enjoy a gentle ride through the olive and almond groves. Reads has its own mountain bikes which are free to hire from reception.
We also have a number of cycling routes mapped out and picnics can also be organised.

The heart of any luxury hotel must be its kitchen, and both of Reads Restaurants, Bacchus and Bistro33, certainly allow Reads to live up to this.
Bacchus offers a fine dining experience, with its acclaimed a la carte menu, impressive 12 metre arches and fresco decorated walls, which, under the guidance of Director Chef Marc Fosh, have earned the restaurant its
Michelin Star.Bistro33, offers an alternative to Bacchus with lighter, more humble dishes, but they are no less exciting. Bistro33 is situated in the olive pressing room, which still retains some of its original equipment providing a wonderfully atmospheric dining area.

The 20,00m2 of landscaped gardens and the vineyard with the Tramuntan mountains behind provide the perfect frame for the beautiful house. And everywhere there are the sights and sounds of nature. Wander through the vineyard and see how the grapes are coming on or ask a waiter to place a sun bed under a tree so you can watch the sunset. And then retire to Browns for a glass of Reads wine.

If you head off in any direction from Reads you will come across some of the most beautiful Mallorcan villages. Nearly every one of them has a market day. We keep a list of these in reception and recommend that you visit these villages on market day to sample a slice of real Mallorcan life.

Directions
- Read’s is located on the edges of Santa Maria, a small town between to Palma and Inca.
- Finding the Hotel by road:
- On leaving the airport, take the motorway towards Palma.
- Follow the sign to the "Vía Cintura", Palma's ring road.
- On the Vía Cintura follow the motorway to Inca/Alcudia. Take the first exit sign posted to Santa María.
- Drive through the village of Santa Maria until you see on your left a wine Bodega called "Macia Batle" (a big white sign on your left) where you turn left.
- Go over the railway lines and continue straight until you reach a crossroads where you will see a sign for Read´s pointing right.
- Follow the sign and you will see Read's on your left.
- Have a safe journey!
